InternetCall is a prepaid service that lets you make calls directly from your
computer to anyone, anywhere in the world for as low as 2c per minute.
Using the latest technology, you make calls through the
ekit website, with no software to download. This is ideal
when using a computer away from home (e.g. in Internet Cafes) and you are unable to
download software to the machine you are using.
Note: ekit InternetCall is not a replacement for your ordinary telephone and cannot be used for emergency calling.

You can call from a computer anywhere in the world as long as the computer has Internet Explorer, an Internet connection, microphone and speakers (or ideally headset or handset).

How do I make an InternetCall?
You need an ekit account with credit on it. Join ekit by registering online or via Customer service.What happens if I can't use the service, or I can't get it to work?
If you cannot see the dial up pad, you need to make www.ekit.com a trusted site by following these instructions,
Your computer or network's firewall may prevent Internet Calling from working correctly. This is typically the case if you are connecting from an Internet Café, Library, Work computer, etc. You may need to speak to your network administrator if your computer is behind a network firewall.
If you are connecting from a home PC, you may want to try the following settings for your firewall software:
* SIP: 5060 (if busy by another SIP Client, ‘KCall’, ‘Twinkle’ etc) try 5070, 5080, 5090)

* STUN: 3478
If you use Windows firewall you have to open the control panel.
Click on Security Centre.
Click on Windows Firewall under "Manage Security settings for:"
Click on the Exceptions tab
Click on "Add Port"
Add each of these ports as UDP
* 3478, 5004, 5005, 5060

How long does it take for my ekit account to be activated?
Immediately. When you become an ekit member, you will receive an account number and PIN while you wait. Just add credit to your account to start using the InternetCall service.
BillingInternational call costs start from 2c per minute! The actual rate is determined by
the country you are calling to. Look up the rates using the online cost calculator.
In the calling from column, select 'InternetCall'. In the calling to column, select
the country you are calling to. The rate will be displayed.
Does the rate differ depending on the time of day?
No. ekit charges flat rates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
No! There are no signup fees, monthly fees or connection fees. You only pay for the calls you make.
InternetCall is a prepaid service. You need to add credit to your ekit account using a credit card. Call charges are then deducted from your current account balance each time you make a call.
Can I see my balance and the calls I have made?
Yes, once you have your account details you can log in to the website to view your Account History and a record of all your paid activites.
